External power supply for HDMI repeater and active cable, phantom power, 5V

If transmission errors occur despite repeaters (also known as extenders or signal amplifiers) or active HDMI cables, this is usually due to an insufficient power supply.
Many HDMI devices still do not provide a sufficient supply via the HDMI cable.
Our special power supply unit provides a remedy here. The enclosed adapter (HDMI plug to HDMI socket) is simply plugged into the HDMI supply cable and connected to the power supply unit. This ensures an optimum power supply for the HDMI chipset in the extender or the active cable.
